I received a link to this article from one of my co-workers today, and I thought it was valuable enough to share. The article is Tips for Teaching in the Online Classrooms of the Future published by Converge Magazine.
The article contains valuable tips for connecting with students. Many are applicable to teaching in the VLA environment; some are geared toward more traditionally-structured online courses. Most of you will probably be able to give yourselves a little pat on the back after reading the article, as you're already doing many of these tasks.
