It's summer! We hope you and your family are having a great summer break! You may have new students on your account taking a summer course through VLA. Please remember to check daily to ensure no students are waiting for units to be graded. Email your summer school students often to spur them forward to work over the summer. Many may not be very enthusiastic about taking courses over summer. You may want to award them bonus points on their final average if they finish in a timely manner, or for each unit turned in. Be creative and have fun with it! It will really help motivate the students and make grading a more rewarding experience for you as well.
