To all our VLA teachers:
We would like to extend to you our thanks for being a VLA teacher in 2015. Your dedication to the children is greatly appreciated. With this new year, many students will be turning in work in an effort to finish before the school year ends. Some may procrastinate and you will be busy fervently grading work that comes in close to the deadline for their license. You may log in one day and see nothing to grade or answer in an email, then log on the next and have 15 lessons waiting because a student worked through the night and turned in that many at once. Our goal is to ensure our districts that our teachers grade all work within a 24-hour period of time. Students have questions and may be awaiting an email response before they can proceed with their work.
Our retooling is complete and we had good results from our teachers. An emailed copy of the unit was emailed to you for you to keep and review when needed.
If you have any questions as you grade in regards to a student, or you find an inadvertent error in the content, or a student isn't working in a timely manner, please email patty.ferrell@omeresa.net as she is the teacher mentor. Stipend questions can be sent to vla@omeresa.net
